How to Buy Our Wines

Since 1997 we have been searching France for those family domaines who believe in their proud plot of vines, rather than in the powders and potions available in modern industrial cellars. The magic of wine—and it does exist—is found when a wine expresses a place and articulates that piece of ground with a beauty that cracks the façade of even the hardest Philistine. Too many of today's wines are fruity concoctions that say nothing and leave only a headache as a lasting impression. True artisan wines are a different story. Unfortunately for consumers, these wines can be difficult to find.

Le Cercle V59 is our not-so-secret society of Francophiles dedicated to the enjoyment of terroir-expressive wines with food, family, and friends. Le Cercle was formed in response to the barrage of inquiries we receive from consumers who are unable to find many of our limited-production wines they read about in publications like The Wine Advocate, Wine Spectator, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar and England's Decanter Magazine.
